Logistics
Large quantities of lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Department of Transportation’s Hazardous Materials Regulations. As a result, they must be transported in accordance with proper safety regulations: sturdy pallets, cardboard dividers, poly banding, wooden strips, capped terminals, and class 8 corrosive battery labels.
In addition to offering timely nationwide pickups, Genesis Dome is committed to public safety and environmental responsibility. Our logistics teams receive special training for safe lithium battery handling and transportation. We guarantee that each shipment adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.
Demanufacturing
As an R2v3 certified recycling and zero-landfill demanufacturing facility, Genesis Dome routinely breaks down products and extracts lithium-ion batteries. With our network of vetted downstream partners, we can utilize byproducts like plastic and metal, diverting usable material back into the supply chain and preserving resources.
Our facility specializes in removing, discharging, and sorting lithium batteries. We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as we prepare batteries for recycling, a process that breaks them down into “black mass” (lithium, nickel, and cobalt) and metals like copper and aluminum.
Rebuilding
Genesis Dome technicians are trained to diagnose every type of battery issue. They complete each rebuild with original parts and load test batteries before shipping to guarantee optimal performance and durability.
